SUMMER INTERNSHIP

THIRD REPORT: LOG BOOK-3

DAY-23:1st June , 2019:


 Today being a Saturday attracts maximum footfall due to weekend.
 I had to receive all the guest, allot them the table and check if their order is up to the
standards.
 Helped in Closing Data which is done at the end of the closing of the café timing in which all
the sale of a particular day is calculated.
DAY-24: 2nd June, 2019
 I had to receive all the guest, allot them the table and check if their order is up to the
standards.
 Helped in data closing
DAY 25 – 3rd June, 2019:
 My mentor introduced me to the software which is used in the café for all the operations.
 Software called POSist, POSist is a pioneer cloud-based point of sale (POS)software to
provide comprehensive suite of restaurant billing and management solutions

DAY 24: 4th June, 2019:


I learnt about how to do billing of table, takeaway and delivery, online ordering on POSist
software. This being the first element on Posist.
Entire day I had to see how the manager is using POSist for the above mentioned work.

DAY 25- 7th June, 2019:


Next day, I now had to learn how to use POSist for inventory management. POSist can be a very
beneficial software when it comes to keep a check on inventory level. It helps in:
 Real time inventory tracking
 Kitchen management
 Raw material management
 Recipe management

DAY 26- 8th June, 2019:


 Handled every day managerial duties
 Ordered stock and over saw inventory management.
 Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations
DAY 27-9th June,2019 :
 Today, I just analyzed all the Bar operations along with guest interaction, taking their
feedbacks for better future experience.
 Looking after the staff operations.

Day 28-10th June, 2019:


I learnt how do POSist helps in Reporting and Analysis of the daily sales in the Restaurant. It
helps in:
 Custom Reports
 Graphical analytics
 Offline reporting

DAY 29- 11th June,2019:


The main thing which I learn in POSist software was that how it is beneficial for the staff of the
restaurant. It helps in:
 User-friendly interface
 Quick billing
 Easy upselling
 Hassel -free order tracking

DAY 30-12th June,2019:


I had to coordinate with all the manager to help control the rush on a weekday and help in
managing day-to-day operations of the Restaurant. Nurture friendly relationships with
customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation

DAY 31-14th June,2019:


 My mentor taught me how to deal with the customer complaints and deliver excellent
customer services and help in Day-to Day operations of the restaurant.
