Star Cabs is the Cab service Provider Company located in Pune.

Star Cabs has been serving not only corporate companies but also local public.

They also have expanded the business by introducing 24, 32 and 42 seater buses.

Current System
Currently Star Cabs uses manual system and excel sheet for executing all the Cab management system.

The data is entered in the excel already and with the help of hyperlinks user can amend the desired
activities.

It is not secured and is likely to be accessed by unauthorized personnel.

The preparation of the log sheet includes the data of the log sheet numbers, vehicle details and to
whom the log sheet number has issued.

Problems
With the current system, Star Cabs is facing the following problems:

1. Manual errors have become big problem going beyond control of management

2. Manipulating of data has become quite common within the system as unauthorized personnel has
easy access

3. No centralized database

4. No controlling and monitoring possible from Head Office

5. Efficiency is not at all at par with management's expectation

6. manipulation in billing is also another problem that Management is facing
