Typically, rSCADA is supplied as an .exe file. The Radix instruments which can be connected, and how many, is
factory set. The user is able to use all the features and facilities that are required during RUN time. For example,
giving/changing tag names, modifying trend screens for number of trends, X and Y axis scaling, setting logging
interval, etc.

This approach allows a cost-effective, ready-to-use solution even for small and tiny applications.

Also, the user needs no programming skills, and minimal skills to use rSCADA. Anyone familiar with a computer

· Export trend values to MS Excel, etc.
· Zoom in/out
· Scroll along the time (X) axis to view recorded data from any time period
See Facilities List (P11) for more information.

Hyper Trend Cursors

Clicking on button will open a cursor
dialog box giving options for selection of
either one or two cursors.

Displays values of individual data points and

calculates time differences and frequencies in
case of two cursors.

Hyper Trend Properties

The Hyper Trend Properties dialog box is
used to modify settings of HDV display:

· Setting of X-axis limits width

· Listing tag names of the selected group
in channels/traces list box
· Addition and deletion of multiple Y axes
and assigning them to tags
· Setting of Y-axis limits
· Labeling of Y-axis

FAQ
Q : Can I change the type and quantity of instruments connected to my rSCADA systems?
A : rSCADA is supplied factory configured for this. Thus, if you had specified 2 scanners when ordering,
you cannot add a 3rd, or replace one scanner with a RH+T indicator.

Q : Why this inflexibility?

A : rSCADA has taken this approach to keep costs down. For example, rSCADA is cost effective even
when used with just one scanner, providing to the user all the power and features of a system that
would cost three times as much.

Q : In which applications is rSCADA most suitable?

A : rSCADA is primarily for users who have a reasonably clear application, and want a solution that works
from day one, without any special computer or programming skills.

Q : Can rSCADA be supplied with instruments of other makes?

A : Generally, no. But if the cost is justified, we might do such integration.
