What India’s Foreign Policy means to Y

“26 May 2016”, this was the glorious day whe

Modi government came into effect. It was a day of triu
not only for the BJP Party but also for the entire nation
then knew, that one day this victory will take the coun
such a high rise.

Of all the initiatives of the newly formed gover

one of the most important being the ‘Foreign Policy’. A
known as the ‘Modi Doctrine’, this policy concerns abo
improving India’s relations with other nations .From
beginning the Modi led government made it ample cle
India would focus more and more on improvising and
developing relations with ASEAN(Association of Southe
Asian Nations) and other East Asian countries as per In
Look East Policy . For the attainment of this objective,
Minister Narendra Modi made official visits to Bhutan,
and Japan within first hundred days of his government

This initiative has a great impact not only on t

socio-economic growth of the nation but also on the fu
destiny of the nation i.e. the youth. After Prime Ministe
visit , the then President of the United States of Ameri
,Barrack Obama announced to invest four billion dollar
invest in India . Canada also made a promise to supply
Uranium for its civil nuclear plants for next five years .
visit to Japan resulted in foreign investment of thirty fi
billion dollars in public and private industries.

Who after all is getting benefited by these init

It is the youth of the nation. You must be wondering, ‘H
Our honourable Prime Minister very well knows the
importance of youth of a nation in the development of
country and so all these foreign official visits were just
benefit of the young generation. All the investments m
the developed countries of the globe generated bulk o
employment. Statistics show that unemployment rate
has been decreasing by almost two percent every yea
indicating employment of the youth.

Every element in the cosmos has its own pros

cons. And in the same way, although the ‘Modi Doctrin
successful in providing jobs to thousands yet there are
millions of people who are still waiting. What can be th
reason behind the failure of such a big mission? It is th
population’ of the country. Our country ha an ample st
of human resource and manpower but the fact is that
these policies and initiatives of the government are
insufficient to fulfil the huge demand.
The ‘Foreign Policy’ initiative definitely gives p
to the youth and all its objectives are for the developm
the youth but this policy could be successful only if the
government adopts some prior strategies. Steps shoul
taken to control the ever increasing population. Only w
the number of people is minimised, all the major polic
the government will turn out to be a great victory.
Our youth is our destiny, future and hope. If th
youth is developed then no barrier and no hindrance c
affect the advancement of the nation.
