Camden town
Camden town , often shortened to Camden is one
of the most popular borough in London , situated
on the north of the city centre , laid out as a
residential district from 1971 , Camden became an
important location during the early development of
the railways , which reinforced its position on the
London canal network , the area now hosts markets
and music venues which are strongly associated
with alternative culture.
You can go there by London underground near some of
the most popular tourist attraction , traditional black
taxis or by particular waterbus service along the Regent’s
canal.
Camden streets markets !!

Camden is well known for its markets . These date from the 1970s
or later except for Inverness Street market, for over a century
small food market serving the community , the most famous is
Camden Lock market situated by the Regent’s canal on a site
formerly occupied by warehouses and other premises associated
with the canal , it is composite of six distinct shop , they are
Stables market ,which sells clothes , Camden Lock Village , Buck
street Market , focusing on clothes, Inverness Street Market
selling fresh products and foodstuffs , and Electric Ballroom ,
which is the most exciting, infact it is night club opened since
1950s.
Unfortunatly on 9 febraury 2008 and on
19 may 2014, some fires destroied a lot of
small shops , which were reconstructed,
after the accidents
Tourist attraction

St Pancras Old Church: is an anglo Catholic church dedicated to the roman


martyr Saint Pancras and is belived by many to be one of the oldest sites of
Christian worship in England , it is situated in Pancras road and the sorrouding
area taking its name , maybe it was bulit in AD 625 , in the 19 th century the
church was restorated by expert artists. Thereis also a large green space outside it
with monuments and tombs .
The Jewish Museum : it is a museum of British Jewish
life , history and identity , which is situated in the north
of London , it was founded in 1932 it is a place for all ages
people , the museum has a dedicated education team
with an extensive program for schools , community
groups and families, there you can find Jewish
cerimonial artfacts , there is also the Holocaust gallery
with video and items from the survivor.
Restaurants!!!!!

In Camden you can find a lot of restaurants where you can


eat delicious food came from all over the world , for
example Greece , Brazil, Italy and other countries , at
rasonable prices , the structure of this restaurant is cool
and exciting , often you can find traditonal things of the
country where their owners come from .
The most popular restaurants are :
Chin Chin laboratorists , with
particular ice cream, il Sugo ,
which makes traditional italian
food and the shaka zulu halal
restaurant , well known for the
statues and the particular paints .
