NARRATIVE REPORT

Immediately, after the report of the second pair on the strategies which could be employed in
the teaching of vocabulary across the curriculum, Miss Jayne and Sir Michael introduced the third
strategy which is called the Alphabox. The Alphabox is a vocabulary strategy wherein the alphabet is
written on the board and the students will write the vocabulary words they did not understand in the
boxes and the teacher will facilitate or give the definition of the word depending on the context of the
lesson. This strategy can be utilized before, during, and after the lesson which can be very helpful for the
teacher.

Miss Jayne started the discussion with a Mr. Michael explained the strategy and how the
simulation abut alphabox. strategy can be used in the teaching-learning
process.
