The copyright on all papers published in Journal of Oral Implantology is owned by the
American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). This form must be signed by the
corresponding author upon submission of the manuscript for peer review. Under the US
Copyright Law effective January, 1978, formal written transfer of copyright on each
article from the author(s) is needed. This transfer allows the Publisher, with
authorization from AAID, to provide the widest possible dissemination of the article
through activities such as distribution of reprints (authorization of reprints, translations,
or photocopies by others); production of microform or electronic editions; and
authorization of indexing and abstracting services in print and electronic database
