    This study examined investment awareness and patterns among rural and young investors in Malaysia and India. It found that while awareness of investing in the stock market and different financial products is growing among youth, many still lack knowledge of risk diversification and prefer to keep savings in cash. Rural investors in particular were more focused on physical assets and savings products with guarantees than potentially higher return investments. The studies highlight the need for more financial education on long-term wealth building and risk-adjusted returns.
