PHILIPPINE POLITICS AND GOVERNANCE

1. How politics is a way of governance?

- Politics keeps a country or an area organized, it is a way for people to follow rules
and regulation within their country or area. Governance is a group of people who
discusses a policy on which they think is good for a country or an area and they will
decide if they should implement or not implement it.

2. What is power?

- Power is where a person has the authority to which they can control
something/someone by a position they are picked for. For example our President
Rodrigo Duterte he has the power or authority to control the Philippines.

3. What are the three (3) faces of power?

- According to Google the three (3) faces of power was a theory discovered by
Steven Lukes, they are the Decision Making, Agenda Settings and Shaping Desires.
Decision Making is an obvious power to where if you are part of a government you have
the right to decide something. Agenda Settings to my opinion it is a prediction, like our
old president, President Marcos he had a prediction that the philippines will grow
through the years so he made or thought of the skyway, highways etc. Shaping Desires
again to my opinion
