    GUIDELINES ON STORY TELLING

    1. The contest is open to all grade 7 students.


    2. The participant can be chosen by the subject teacher through the process of elimination or can be
    just appointed.
    3. Each contestant will present the same piece which is entitled “A Mother’s Love”.
    4. Props are not required but will be added as an additional point for the contestant.
    5. Each contestant is given 5 to 7 minutes for the presentation.
    6. Time shall officially start when the contestant utters the first word of his or her presentation.

    Criteria for Judging

    Voice - 15 points
    Knows the Story/Mastery - 30 points
    Articulation - 25 points
    Stage Presence
    Eye Contact - 10 points
    Gestures - 10 points
    Facial Expression/Emotion - 10 points
    100 points
