attacks should do). Follow the way up to the top of the cliff.

Main Story Reuniting

Rosalia
You can found 200 Gil in the cupboard and a potion in another. Meet Joelton. She asked us to return
a Mystery Book to Professor Daravon at the Academy at the east of town.

Outside of Joelton’s house you can open the menu and save. Try to spend a night in every INN.

Don’t buy anything yet, but keep looking for goodies like Clothes, 50 Gil, Antidote and Potion (house
south east of Joelton’s), Potion (item shop), Defense Plus (near the church) and a Potion (barrel next
to Joelton’s). Now enter the Academy (Daravon’s Hall). Speak to everyone and last to Professor
Daravon. He gives you a World Map for the Mystery Book.

Outside the Academy you met a mysterious man. He gives you

And makes Karina a Holy Knight. Equip the Iron Arrows to Elysia. Go back to Joelton. She gives you
500 Gil. Let’s get to the Western Forest and find her father.

Western Forest, 1st visit

Items to be found: Star Pendant, 250 Gil, 500 Gil, Tent

Monsters: Goblins, Float Eyes, Dive Eagles, Hornets

Boss: Minotaurus, 300 Exp, Longsword

Joelton’s father asks you to deliver some herbs (Forest Sage) to the Item shop of Palomton and
suggests Cecille for your next stop.

Western Forest, 2nd visit

Items to be found: 500 Gil, Potion

Hobo Shack
You found this place west of the Western Forest. In there you find a Hi-Potion and a free bed.

Bridge to Palomton
The guards won’t let you over the bridge. Kaayu stays while the others search for the Tarufell. You
will find Ashiee at Hobo Shack. Ashiee leaves with Azran building her town. Now you can cross the
bridge.

Palomton, 1st visit

Items: Axe-book (Ashiee), Defense Plus, Echo Herbs, Silent Bell, Cook-book (???), Ether, Potion, 200
Gil, Soma Drop, Magic Plus, Power Plus

Persons of interest: Zyger, Ironbug, Bot, Goldbug

Enter the item shop to deliver the Forest Sage and got the hint to search the mines. Don’t forget to
upgrade your equipment. Speak to Mr. Goldbug and take a look at his bot. He gives you his mine key
and told you to find a Memlocs.

Palomton Mine

You will find most of the items aside the rails tracks. Follow them to meet: Cassie

Boss: Lost Souls, don’t hit Cassie. Don’t use Ashiee’s Rage. Use Runic to absorb the fire spells. 450 Gil

Pull the two levers in the basement to open the door. There you find an Emergency Exit, Explosives
and Memlocs.

Palomton, 2nd visit

Repair the Bot. You will find Goldbug again later in game.

you will meet Aeth. Now head back to the church and find the waterway.

The guard won’t let you pass. Go to Rosalia and visit Joelton’s father. Next stop: Mount Rosalia.

Follow the path to a dragon statue. Get the Strange Orb

Party 2 (Rest)
Go north and up to the 4th floor: Power Plus, Mythril Vest

Go left or right from the 3rd floor warp to the 5th floor: Defense Plus, Gold Hourglass, Dry Ether,
Lightning Arrows, Ancient Sword, and Psycho Spiral. From there you find your way to some of the
treasures from the 1st floor: Soma Drop, Asura, Elixir and Sniper Eye.

Take the west warp of the 1st floor. On the 2nd floor you find 2.000 Gil x2 and Twist Headband. Go up
to the 3rd floor.

Take the warp left of you: Elixir and Tent (1st floor)

Take the warp right of you: Remedy and Magic Plus (1st floor)

Now take the warp at the south west to get back to the 4th floor to find the altar.

Boss LM-11: You won’t do much damage, so escape with Q & E for now. Orophin will break the spell.
Now Doiden can learn a new spell and Level 99 can steal something.

Your next goal is to find the 4 Crystals. Go back to Gradd and Sundi.

Take the ship to Aquaria.

There are 3 stairs. The 1st (centre) leads to an obelisk in Dwarfisch. The other two lead to some
statues. The hint at the wall refers to them. Investigate the statue in the 2nd row, 2 from the right. In
the gold chest you find the Ancient Autotranlator.

Now take the center stairs. You have to answer 3 questions. The answers are: River, Nothing, Miko.

Boss: Titan. Steal a Giant Glove. Congratulations for your first Magicite and Crystal.

Take the teleporter.

Scenario 2 (Elysia, Cassie, Fievel, Marz)

Undead Castle
Go back up. After the event travel back to Castle Aquaria and speak with McDohl. Your next goal is
the Gurgu Vulkan. So travel back to the Gurgu Pass. Now you can pass.

Gurgu Village

Talk to Isori for a party to please Ifrit.

Boss: Magissa. Say hello to Abelia.

Gurgu Vulcano

Speak to Isori, don’t fear the ground damage – you have two healers in your party.

Follow the way until you reach the dragon statues. Take first the left way and then the way behind
them to the Fire Shrine. Choose one of the side doors to find some items. The middle door leads to
the Crystal Chamber.

Boss: Ifrit. Use Blizzara and Elysia’s Songs. Cassie prays and your fighter should take care of the
Infernal Nails. Congratulations to your second Magicite and Ifrit’s Cudgel.

Take the Crystal of Fire and the transporter back out.

Scenario 3 (Karina, Dag, Orophin, Aeth, Gradd)

Don’t get lost. The first 2 cave entrances lead to the same cave with items. At the next intersection
take the upper first to get some items. The lower leads higher up the peak. The last cave leads to the
summit.

Boss: Garuda. It’s weak to fire and earth spells. Dag should use Chainspell wise. Congratulations for
your third Magicite. But the Crystal of Wind is stolen…

Use the teleporter to end this scenario.

Aquaria Castle (after the Rift)

Finally the friends are together again and you got your own ship. But at the port you meet
Halicarnassus again. He told you to take the Crystals to Mielo Cave, but visit Mielo Village first. But
there is much more to do before that.

First you should revisit the places you where while separated.

Bobe’s Rest

You can rest in the INN even when no one is responding. If you have been anywhere you will meet
Magissa and Halicarnassus at the entrance.

Boss: Halicarnassus. Steal his Saint Band.

Mielo Cave

The way through the cave is pretty linear. At the 3rd floor take the upper stairs first. At the 4th floor
go first down (Savepoint) then left. In the Crystal Chamber you will meet Chrys and Co.

Boss: Chrys. Steal a Zephir’s Cape from her.

Talk to Magissa and Halicarnassus. Then take the Crystal of Wind and leave the cave via teleporter.
Return to Castle Aquaria. Speak with McDohl and watch the event.

Water Shrine
Monsters: Splasher, Whitedile, Deathanet, Water Element, White Mousse

You have to touch the springs for teleporting. (From left to right) S1 ↔ S2, S3 ↔ S4; Hagun; S5 ↔
S6; S7 (next to S6)  Mythgraven Blade; S8 (South west to S6)  Hexagramm  next floor.

Take the stairs until you reach the savepoint.

Boss: Kayuu and Shiva. Steal a Golden Apple from Kayuu and an Icebrand from Shiva. Call all your
Primals (Magicite) and defeat them.

When you touch the Crystal of Water, you were attacked.

Boss Leviathan. Steal a Shell Ring and defeat him with thunder-based attacks. Congratulations to
your 5th Magicite.

Return to Ithilsul (former Applesul). McDohl will give you a Warp Cudgel. Now return to Sundi in
Sundiland. Place the Crystals.
Main Story Searching for Compensation

Your next goal is the Ancient Library and Sultan Nicholas in Emerald.

Chocobo’s Forests (Eastern Continent)

Person of Interest: Odion.

If he isn’t there, check the other forests.

Enaya
Speak to Elia to get news to Kayuu’s condition. But you need an airship to find the frozen spring
forest.

Ancient Library

Read the marked books: “ERAUQS” or “SQUARE”; “Si” or “IS”; “EHT” or “THE”; “DLROW” or
“WORLD”.

At the closed door you have to put these words to a sentence: “THE WORLD IS SQUARE” but
mirrored. Investigate the Map.

Boss: Dullahan. Steal the Gauntlet. Dullahan uses Level 5 Doom. Either have no level dividable
through 5 or finish him quickly.

Now you have the Airship Schematics.

Emerald
Speak to Sultan Nicholas. Listen to the Shop owners and Miko. You got the Levistone. Now the fun
begins. Giggle (Teehee…), Flirt (Squee…), Extreme Stuff (Kick in your balls), “Lean back and relax”.
You got a Gil Band. When you make too many mistakes, you got only a Rune Armlet.

Now go back to King Ithilsul. Go to the Dry Docks. Name your new Airship.

Boss: Gigantuar. Only chance to learn 10.000 Needles. It will counter all physical attacks. Hit him with
10.000 Needles and Magic, heal with Curaga on all and have plenty of Phoenix Downs. Bring the
Sword back to Isori and you get another Genji Glove.

Hunter’s Logde

Persons of Interest: Randy, Mr. Argus, Divinus

Speak to Mr. Argus to get your trial hunt in the Western Forest. Once done, talk to him again and
then to all other members. Especially Divinus.

Frozen Whisper Forest

Take first the lower way to the next Map. You found a Protect Ring and Odin’s Grave. Go back and
take the upper one until the next intersection. Go right to find a Blood Lance. Go up to reach the next
Map.

There you find an Elixir and a Royal Crown. Take the right way to find an Ice Ring and the left way to
find a Gauntlet. The north way leads to the next map.

There you find Gawain’s Axe, Index Finger and the spring. Take some Mysterious Water. Bring it to
Elia in Enaya. Now Kayuu is back and you got your 6th Magicite Shiva.

Malum Arce
Items: 3.000 Gil, Dry Ether, Elixir, Speed Plus, Gigas Hat, Megalixir, Master’s Staff, Stoneblade, Cat

Malum Arce is the castle on the island north of Aquaria.

The chest in the Prison will be available a bit later. Take the guarded stairs last. You have to open the
balcony door first. To open it you have to survive some traps.

Boss Sundi. Steal a Guard Bracelet from him. He likes to Confuse you.

Sundi drops Sundi’s Key. With it you can open the balcony door to the Control Room. After the event
there go back to Koen and talk to the Elder. Don’t forget the chest in the Prison on your way out.

The Elder tells you to bring the Amulet of Garland into the cave in the Silent Woods. But first you
have to survive an ambush on your airship. You crash near Jipang.

Jipang
Items: Protector’s Ring (in the trees at the hot spring)

Person of interest: Ostrea, Kingscross

Talk to Ostrea. She won’t help you but suggests to speak to the eremite at Lake Arumashi. Return to
Jipang and met the eremite at the Shrine.

Boss: Fenrir. You can steal a Speed Plus from him.

After the events you can leave the island.

Chocobo to fly to the Genesis Tree. Perhaps the Chocobo breeders of Squeenix know something.

Temple of Light
Heal and Save before you challenge Alexander. You can steal a Kaiser Helm from him. Doiden can
learn 2 Blue Spells. Congratulations to your next Magicite.

Squeenix
Ask Choco Belle after the Black Chocobo. She gives you some Gysahl Greens. Visit every Chocobo’s
Forest until you find a black feather. Get your Black Chocobo.

Talk to the man at the well. Abelia leads a party without Karina.

Boss: Chaos Dragon. You have to defeat him 3x. Abelia should use Bluff and Flare. The others help
her. You find a Stardust Rod and a Ribbon in the chests. After returning you got 10 AP-Tokens.

Valkrum Resort
Talk to the monk in the Pub. You have to fight 3 groups of monks. Talk to the monk again to get the
Spharai. Talk to the owner and get an Emperor Hairpin and 10 AP Token.

Kokkol’s Forge
Investigate the Broken Katana with Marz as you leader. Talk to Kokkol. You need a Spirit Alloy. Kokkol
gives you the Old Key.
Abandoned House
Get inside to the Ice Labyrinth.

Boss: Ice Behemoth. Steal an Ice Bracelet. Take the Spirit Alloy. Return to Kokkol. Follow him to the
smith and… the Kusanagi and 10 AP-Token are yours.

Inn on the Plain

Talk to the Super Lancer with Gradd in the lead. Go to the INN in Sundiland and investigate the
monolith.

Boss: EvilGradd. Defeat him to get your Ragnarok. Return to the Super Lancer to get 10 AP Token.

Cecille Manor
Talk to the maid in front of the audience chamber with Kayuu in front. Confront the fake and defeat
the Queen Malboro. Steal a Ribbon and let Doiden learn Bad Breath. The maid gives you the
Terpsichore and 10 AP-Token.

Riverside Cabin
Take a nap with Doiden as leader. Talk to the Blue Mage. Return to Mount Rosalia’s Waterfall. There
you meet Tellahh. Doiden can learn Disserverment and Level 99 can steal Hermes Sandals from him.
You got the Koggelmander back. Return to the Blue Mage, get 10 AP-Token and learn Frog Drop.

Undead Castle
Talk to Silverberry with Dag in lead. Boss: Shadow Lord. Chainspell Flare until he’s dead. Get Murgleis
and 10 AP-Token.

Bobe’s Rest
Talk to Lu Shang with Orophin in lead.

Catch the Jellyfish.

Boss: Ogopogo. Steal a Dragon Mail and defeat him. You got the Crystal Sword. Return to Lu Shang
and he gives you his Fishing Rod and 10 AP-Token.

Time to use this Rod and get all those treasure at the fishing spots: Rear Ring, Lightning Band, Hidden
Ring, Tetra Elemental, Blizzard Orb, Salve Band.
Palomton
Try to visit Ironbug with Aeth in lead. Follow her to the Forgotten Shrine. You met her after the
Savepoint.

Boss: Love Phantom. Steal his Prayer Beads and defeat him. You got the Twinheart Locket, Dawn’s
Edge and 10 AP-Token.

Island Closest to Haven

Items: 30.000 Gil, 40.000 Gil, Apollo Helm, Hero’s Armor, Elixir, Etoile Tiara, Silver Apple, Twilight Hat,
Dragoon Plate, Crystal Helm.

Monsters: Mikaryote, Moles, Alraune, Navy Moth, Brain, Kirin, Mind, Bloody Eye, Shadow Dragon

Try to get all items, then use the teleporters to reach the savepoint.

Boss: Ultima. Have Karina ware a Limit Ring (Intangir) and Genji Glove, her strongest swords and best
armour. Let her attack a few times then change to Climhazzard. The others attack or support her,
Cassie (or other Healer) heals.

You got the Ultima Weapon. Don’t forget to take the Limit Ring before using the teleporter.

Island Closest to Hell

Items: Ares Helm, Etoile Casaque, Golden Apple, Choral Shirt, Cleric’s Hood, Megalixir, Crystal Shield,
Melpomene, Maximillian.

Monsters: Machine Dragon, Machine Warrior, Pulse Cannon, Sentry, Armstrong.

Boss: Omega. Karina uses Soulblade, Cleansing Strike and Climhazzard (limit break) in turns. Abelia
uses Bluff and Flare, Doiden uses 10.000 Needles (limit break), Cassie heals.

Omega drops Omega’s Mark and Offering.

Aquaria
With the VIP-Key you can enter the VIP-lounge in the Auction House.

You can get an Economizer (over 400.000 Gil), Kraken Club (1 Gil), Sorceress’ Mantle and Elven Cape.

Time to meet with Cid and King Ithisul.

Boss: Bahamut. Steal the Force Shield and finish him off.

Use your chance to heal at the Savepoint.

Boss: Tanaka. He shouldn’t be a problem.

Boss: Neo-Tanaka. He has a Skill, the Fallen One, which put your party’s HP to one. Use Curaja (or
similar) to survive. Use the same tactic as versus Ultima or Omega.

Return to the Dimensional Barrier and take Ironbug with you.

Cassie’s destiny depends on sleeping in all INNs.

Try those again in order if you had the bad ending: Cecille, Enaya and Kutan.

Other events will be triggered in Rosalia, Aquaria, Koen, Hunter’s Lodge and Wadapolis (past).

Congratulation – you just beat the main game.

Cutter’s Cry

Return to Cutter’s Cry to enter the Bonus Dungeon. You will get some Adamantide in there, which
you can use to forge the best equipment at Kokkol’s Forge. Some of the monster can kill you with
one hit. Save often.

Items: 4x Elixir, Megalixir, Wild Rose, Tent, Diamond Ring, Lunar Curtain, Guard Bracelet

Monsters: Bug Jaws, Tonberry Chef, Abomination, Trickster, Ronin, Bone Dragon, Storm Dragon

Challenges:
Lich shouldn’t be much of a problem. Don’t forget, that Climhazzard can do up to 99.999 HP-
Damage.

Kraken counters physical attacks and 10.000 Needles with Constrict. Doiden should change to
Everyone’s Grudge and Level 99 can be exchanged to Abelia or another mage.

Tiamat counters some attacks with Tornado. Heal as fast as you can.

Marilit counters some attacks with Silence.

Scarmiglione likes to curse you.

When Cagnazzo charges water, use Lightning-Elemental-Spells to undo it or he counters with

Tidal Wave.

For Barbariccia exchange your Genji Gloves with Ribbons. She counters with Break, Tempest
and Tornado. When she guards, she uses Maelstrom and has a high evasion. Counter it with
Climhazzard, Everyone’s Grudge and Curaja until defeat.

Rubicante counters with Firaja.

The Goddess can be nasty. She has a skill which turns a party member to her bodyguard. Once
someone has the status “Cover” all attacks will be reflected to him/her. Only Everyone’s Grudge
seems to work. Let Doiden learn “Quasar” from her and then use Everyone’s Grudge. The others
defend or heal, because Quasar is her strongest spell.

Neo-Shinryu hides in a treasure chest containing a Wild Rose right above the Savepoint. It uses
Disaster which causes numeral bad status effects on the party. Ribbons are necessary. Get
Climhazzard to max and your HP up. Like all strong Dragons it even uses Mega-Flare and Amalgast.

Fiend uses Change Polarity. Get Karina back in front row! Doiden learns “Absolute Zero” and
“Force Field” from it. Unfreeze with Esuna (or ware a Ribbon). Defeat him, before he starts targeting
a party member. His Friend Attack is really strong.

The monolith requires the Omega’s Mark and Ultima Weapon. Czar Dragon is the strongest foe
here. Each time it calls Barrier Change it’s like a new fight. Have Karina, Elysia, Doiden and Cassie be
in the party. Karina maximizes her Climhazzard, Elysia repeats her Ballads, Doiden uses Study at each
Barrier Change (he can at least learn Absolute Zero a second time) and then Everyone’s Grudge.
Cassie heals. After defeat you obtain the Omega Weapon.

Gilgamesh is only available when you have defeated him in the Dragon’s Nest Arena. He drops
the Bradamante.

Demon counters sometimes with Fireja. Doiden can learn Southern Cross.
After the 2nd Savepoint you meet the Masked Man again.

You have to defeat 5 challenges in a row. Chaos, CloudOfDarkness, Zeromus, Neo-

Exdeath and Kefka. Chaos uses Crush (Heal!), Neo-Exdeath is the only enemy with 5
parts. They use even Grand Cross. Let Doiden change to Quasar for this boss. Kefka has a high
evasion and uses Fallen One and Ultima. Healing is necessary.

After this fight the Masked Man reveals his true identity and gives you the Ozma’s Splinter.

You can challenge him, too but I advise you to get 2 full sets of Adamant equipment first.

Sakaguchi is a tougher challenge then Czar Dragon. In his first form he is OK. Cassie can even use
Holy (limit break) sometimes. The second form is absolute crazy. Sakaguchi uses each of the strong
spells you have already encountered plus Flare Star. Keep your HP up and revive fallen members as
fast as possible.

After defeat, he recharges the memory crystals so that you can challenge each again.

Ashieeton
The weapon and armour shop have new and unique assortments. The item shop even sells
Megalixirs.
