A.Y. 2019-2020

Greetings!

As stated in Article VI Section 3.8 of the 2015 Charter of the XU – ACES, the Council
President shall ‘appoint not later than fifteen (15) working days as his/her term commences the
Department Heads, Office Heads, Committee Heads and the Budget and Finance Officer all of
whom are to be confirmed by the Board of Directors. The list of the names of the appointed
officials shall be given to the Board of Directors for confirmation.’

Whereas, in Memorandum No. 0006 – 1920, the appointed Office of Research and Constituent
Insights’ Head left XU – ACES due to unforeseen circumstances.

Whereas, the position is now vacant and the association would be handicapped if there are seats
unfilled.

Whereas, I, Mr. Jesus Bernard L. Ramillano, President of the Xavier University - Association
of the College of Engineering Students for A.Y. 2019 – 2020, in compliance to the mandate of
the 2015 XU – ACES Charter, do hereby appoint:

Darren Daniel C. Tangpos

Head, Office of Research and Constituent Insights

as the next Office of Research and Constituent Insights’ Head for AY 2019 – 2020. Upon the
release of the approval from the Board of Directors, the appointee may start performing his
duties and responsibilities inherent to the position given to them.

Done this 29th day of June 2019 at the XU – ACES Office, 2nd Floor Student Center Building,
Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan Main Campus.
