The Gomal University Dera Ismail Khan offers the following vacancies of Assistant
Professor & Lecturer Computer Science as per criteria laid down by Higher Education
Commission of Pakistan for Sub-Campus Gomal University, Tank on Contract / fixed pay
initially for a period of one year-:

Assistant Professor in Computer Science (02 Vacancies ) Pay Package Rs.150,000/-

Per Month
Minimum a. Ph.D in relevant field from HEC recognized University /
Qualification institution. OR
b. Master`s degree (foreign) or MS /M.Phil. or equivalent degree in
the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/
Institution.
Experience a. Nil
b. 4 years teaching/ research experience in an HEC recognized
University or a post graduate Institution or Professional experience
in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

Lecturer in Computer Science (02 Vacancies ) Pay Package Rs.120,000/- Per Month
Minimum M.Phil./ MS OR equivalent degree awarded after 18 Years of
Qualification education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized
University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.
Experience Preferably 2 years teaching/ research experience in an HEC recognized
university.

1. Applications complete in all respect on prescribed form (obtainable from Recruitment Section, Gomal
University and also available at Gomal University website www.gu.edu.pk) along with attested copies of
the certificates / Degrees (With DMCs showing total Marks / Marks obtained from SSC and onward with
%age), Experience Certificates, National ID Card with application fee (Non Refundable) as per following
rates through Bank Draft drawn in favour of the Director Finance, Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan
OR BANK RECEIPT deposited in ACCOUNT NO. 595-3 in National Bank of Pakistan, Gomal University
Branch must reach the undersigned on or before 27-6-2019 during the office hours. Incomplete
application form, applications reaching after due date and without supporting documents required to
prove the claim shall be rejected without intimation to the candidates:-
i. Application fee for the Post of Assistant Professor is Rs.3500/-
ii. Application fee for the post of Lecturer is Rs.1500/-
2. The applicants should submit their separate application form along-with all relevant documents for each
category.
3. Only Eligible candidates for all categories will be called for final Interview.
4. No TA/DA will be permissible for test (If conducted) and Interview.
5. The University reserves the rights to withdraw/ not to fill/ change any number of post/ withhold the
appointment or interview against any advertised post without assigning any reason.
6. No 3rd division in academic carrier for all positions.
