 Founded in 2009 by Government;
 Main aim: process of digitalization
 Formally started in 2011 as an independent state
owned company;
 Before that, ETV was a part of RTS until the end of
2010.
 Headquarters in Belgrade;
 Human resources:
- 256 employees;
- 30 % with university degrees

MPEG-2, DVB-T;
4 SD TV programs;
2008. added HD channel, 3 TV programs SD, 1 TV

Plans made by ETV related to DVB-T2
1. Coverage plan (frequency/sites):
- Done for 3 MUX and 13 allotments
- Network type SFN exceptionaly MFN
- Outdoor reception
- Enables indoor reception in the biggest cities
- Requirements:
MUX 1- more than 95 % of the populations in each allotment
achived with 208 sites, 33 transmitters and 175 gap fillers
MUX 2 and 3 - more than 90 % of the populations in each
allotment
achived with 89 sites, 33 transmitters and 56 gap fillers.
2. Plan for the implementations of equipment:
- detailed plan of the necessary equipment for each sites
3. Plan reconstruction of infrastructure:
- estimated scope of work and cost for each sites

3. DTT in Serbia - Future

Wishes, goals, plans, ...:
1. Reach simulcast and ASO:
- With existing equipment and free frequencies reach 90 %
coverage of the population in Serbia
- Declare Simulcast
- After 6 months ASO
2. Buy and install missing equipment:
- IPA funds and goverment provided 12 MoE for part of the
equipment
- Procurement of the missing equipment-loan-tender
- Installation and commissioning
3. Launch DVB-T2 network, full ERP, all 3 MUX
- Achived all planing parameters for all 3 MUX
- Launch PAY TV, MUX 2 and 3
