Instruction

In this activity, I have learned some personal letters, observe the text’s social functions, structure and
lexico – grammatical features.

The key features of personal letters to do with jobs include ….

1. Social Function
To build and maintain interpersonal relation with family, relatives and friends.
2. Generic Structure
 Opening
 Sharing current and past personal news
 Responding the expected, unexpected and personal news.
3. Significant lexico –grammatical features
 Focus on exchanging personal current news, feeling and conditions
 Use of pronouns, simple present and past tense
 Use of date and address
 Informal greeting or salutation.

What I like most about this activity are : reading and construction personal letters.

What I need to improve / learn more is : the other kinds of personal letter, because in this module just
friend letters.
