JCI Bohol Sandugo, the province’s premier JCI chapter, has been inactive since year 2012 until this year,
when JCI Metro Cebu Uptown and JCI Boholana Kisses joined hands to spearhead its revival. The Kisses
Jaycees were tasked to handle the Opportunity to Impact (OTI) seminars to its new members. The first
was last February 15 at the Soledad Suites and the second last March 15 at Reyna’s Haven, with a total of
25 participants. The election of the new set of officers was also done during the first OTI and they were
officially welcomed to the Jaycee family during the chapter’s Induction and Turnover Ceremonies on June
14, 2019 at the Belian Hotel, with the chapter’s new Local Organization President JCI Mem. Lord
Relampagos Marapao V leading the new order of knights.

JCI WEEK - MAETCH

Padayon! Be Saya. Year after year, Junior Chamber International (JCI) celebrates its JCI Week. It is a week-
long celebration through project implementations to give flesh and meaning to the JCI Creed. In Central
Visayas (CV), it was JCI Boholana Kisses who hosted the JCI Week implementation, and was co-hosted by
all chapters in CV. The week started with a Thanksgiving Mass at the Cathedral, a motorcade around
Tagbilaran City and a Press conference in AA’s Bbq which was participated by 50 members from all 11
chapters in Central Visayas. For the rest of the week, other chapters implemented their own projects in
line with the JCI Creed focused on that certain day.

Catalyst Weekend and Lift nga article JCI Boholana Kisses was the lead host during the first Regional Run
of Catalyst Weekend held in Travelbee Hotel, Tagbilaran City last February 18-20, 2019. It was attend by
a total of 27 participants from different chapters all over the region. It was facilitated by the 2019 National
Training Director Gurlie Frondoza and 2019 Regional Training Director Queenie Dionaldo. The training
focused on being the Catalyst of Change, the theme for JCI Philippines this 2019. During the Second
Regional Run of Catalyst Weekend held last march 14-16, 2019 in Alta Cebu Resort, JCI Boholana Kisses
was also a Co-host with JCI Cebu Inc as the lead host. This run had a total of 21 participants from the
Central Visayas Region.

L.I.F.T Weekend (Learn, Inspire, Fuel, Train). A training module created by the ever dynamic duo 2019
Area Training Director Hersey Legaspina and Regional Training Director Queenie Dionaldo for present and
future trainers in the region, with the goal of having a stronger bolder wiser version 2.0 of training team
in Central Visayas. This was attended by JCI Boholana Kisses President Mae Angelyn Te, Executive Vice
President - Internal Kay Caesar Penales, Executive Vice President - External Joph Rey Ingles, Secretary Vic
Nielen Renegado, Local Training Director Deb Jomarleh Ucang, Dir. For UNSDG Chrissa Ranis, and
Memeber Alyssa Te. Its looks like a great year ahead for the training team of JCI Boholana Kisses!
