Zacharia, Lately I have been observing your physical abilities

You are such a busy boy! Look at everything you have been exploring all in a day! You took an in-
terest in climbing, swinging, jumping and other number of challenges in the playground through ex-
ploring these you are:

 Problem solving  Vestibular stimulation

 developing growing muscles  Trust
 participating in a group  Risk taking
,
 Observing  strength
 setting their own challenges  crossing mid lines
 making choices  upper body strength
 Creating a sense of achievement,  gravity,
 loco motor  Height
 gross motor  Positional language
 co-ordination  Comprehension
 agility  Understanding your own ability
 Balance

You were very confident in your own abilities. Zacharia is really enjoying the physical challenges he
can explore and engage in at An-Nur. He is developing a vast amount of skills, which he gets regu-
lar opportunity to practice, perfect and adapt. Your learning goal is around belonging at An-nur I
can see from the way that you engaged in all activities outside today that you feel safe & comforta-
ble to joining in where ever your interests leads you. I can see that you have built relationships
with your peers and I can see your emerging social skills. Zacharia, I know that you have a sense of
belonging at An-nur and most important of all look at how much fun you had!

Children’s bodies develop from their head to their feet and from the centre
of their bodies to the tips of their limbs ‘Their fingers and fine motor skills
(used for writing etc) are the last to develop’. It’s therefore essential that
upper body strength is promoted and developed.
