Warm up Greeting / Ice  Spelling +5-10
breaking  Ss will be devided into two groups min
 One member from each group stand against the
whiteboard and take turn to spell the letters of the words.
 The quicker team to guess will get a point.
 Ss will write the answer on the whiteboard
 Why don’t you ask them to do hotseat? So they will
practice speaking more.

Lead in  Ss will be given a piece of card consist of problem.
 They have to ask their friends for the solution
Presentation Language / T will ask the ss one solution for the problem given by the T
Skill T will explain about problem and solution

Language Meaning  T will ask Ss to open the SB pg. 77

Practice  They have to read and identify the problem

Form

Pronunciation  Ss will scan the text first (SB. 78-79)

 Ss will be looking for the words they don’t know the
meaning

Appropriacy

Skill practice Reading / Read in circle:

Listening / 1. Ss will form a circle where they will read the text passage
Speaking / 1 sentence per S.
Writing 2. They will read in either clockwise or counter-clockwise
direction.
3. They will read it at normal speed at first to familiarize
them with the words they have just learned how to
pronounce.

 4. After that, they will practice reading them in faster pace to
reach the best time.
5. Slightly different than usual reading technique, Ss will be
paired and assigned different paragraphs of the text and
they are responsible to read the paragraph clearly and
fast.
6. Are there problems in the story? Ask them to identify the
problem and solution.
