DEPOSITIONAL SETTING OF KOHAT-
POTWAR PROVENCE:
• Sedimentation in Kohat- Potwar
are began in late Pre-Cambrian
and lasted in Pleistocene.
• Three major unconformities in
this area are Ordovician to
Carboniferous, Mesozoic to Late
Permian and Eocene to
Oligocene.
