Narrative Report for the Month of October

During Meeting Time I shared to them that families care for and love one another, family members
express their feelings for one another in special ways, family members protect each other, family
members often teach one another new things, family members have different responsibilities at
home. And families set their own rules. And I also told them that family members liker one another
in some ways and different in some ways.

In Small Group Activities I brought a poster of different ways people earn a living and a poster at the
(place of work of the parent) and I show to them family tree. And I let the children to draw (things
our family members do for me another). A dramatic play, like bahay-bahayan, and play letter
domino, block, sand play, picture sound match, puzzles, letter trace and shape pattern.

In Big Group Activities I talk about things that their families do together I listed the keyword on the
board e.g. play, eat, and work. I invite a few children to talk about ways they help the family
members at home. And show the family mobiles to the class. And I ask them what sort of things you
learn from your families. Also I talk about household chores at home. And I let them share about
responsibilities at home.

In Supervised Recess I always told them to pray before and after eat their snacks, wash their hands
before and after and brush their teeth after eating their snacks.

In Story Telling Time I introduced to them different story for this month like, Kaibigan ko si Dilim,
Araw ng Palengke, Pambihirang Buhok ni Lola, Si Hinlalaki, Ang Tikbalang kung Kabilugan ng Buwan,
Chenelyn! Chenelyn! The Family Teenagers and Big World, Small World, I introduce also the different
rhymes, poems, songs like Helping Hands, Families do Things Together, Mag-anak, Masayang
Pamilya, Heto na si Ina, Si Kuya, Family Chart, Brother, Sister, Help Me Do and We are Family.

In Indoor and Outdoor Activities we play different games like, Move around the Hoop, Maria went to
Market, Paper blowing, Snake Tag, Hopping Home, Footprint Walk, Movement counting and Mother,
Father May We?
