INTRODUCTION
We introduce ourselves as Engineering, Design and Consultancy Team in the domain of Civil & Structural Engineering Design works. We
had been providing our design services to other Engineering Consultants as Associate Engineers and directly to Clients since 2013.
We are proficient for projects involving multiple disciplinary engineering works involving Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
(Piping & Equipment Designing), Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering works which requires lot of internal coordination from each
disciple w.r.t Civil and Structural design works.

Project Name: Toll Plaza @ Karachi - Hyderabad Motorway (M9) – Steel Structural Design
EDC's Joint Collaboration Project with Petrochem Engineering Services, for preparation of Structural Design Calculations & Detailed
Engineering Drawings.
 EDC performed detailed design calculations for this Steel Structure using Structural Analysis Software - Staad Pro V8i (SS-5).
 Due to Non-Standard types of Connection Details, Connection Design was done by developing excel design sheets using AISC-
ASD Design Code.
 All Design Calculations were vetted and approved by Owners Engineer in ONE GO and executed at site.

Project Name: Edible Oil Refinery for Habib Oil - 30 Meter High Steel Structure Building & Raft Foundation
EDC's Joint Collaboration Project with Ali Consultants - Steel Structure Detailed Engineering Design & Drawing Works for Edible Oil
Refinery.
 EDC performed detailed design calculations for this Steel Structure using Structural Analysis Software - Staad Pro V8i (SS-5) –
AISC - ASD Code.
 Connection Design was done over self-developed excel design sheets using AISC-ASD Design Code.
 Piping Clash Check & Equipment Placement Coordination was done in complete detail with Equipment Supplier by
Integration of Structural Drawings and Equipment Placement over Navis Work.
 Steel Structure Shop Fabrication Drawings were reviewed & site fabrication queries were addressed back to back with the
construction progress.
 Type of Structure = Steel Structure Building for Edible Oil Refinery.
 Dimensions of Structure = 30m High Building x 12m Wide x 21m Length
 Type of Foundation = Raft Foundation.

Project Name: 17 Meter High Duct Supporting Structure over existing Cooling Water Tower
EDC's executed this project on behalf of EPC company Wright Engineering Company (WEC) for Sindh Nooriabad Power Company
(SNPC), covering Structural Design and Detailed Construction Drawings for 3 Nos. of 5m Diameter FRP Duct Supporting Steel
Structure over existing Cooling Tower Structure at 17 meter height.
It was very challenging project for EDC, as several existing features were creating obstruction for proposed duct supporting
structure and its foundations. A thorough As-built was prepared over which proposed structure was set without clashes.
 Site Survey was done by EDC team and complete Site As-built were developed based on site data and available structural
drawings.
 Detailed design calculations for this Steel Structure were performed using Structural Analysis Software - Staad Pro V8i (SS-5) –
AISC - ASD Code.
 All Design Calculations & Drawings were vetted and approved by Owners Engineer and executed at site.
 Type of Structure = Steel Structure Supporting FRP Ducts
 Dimensions of Structure = 17m High x 13.5m Wide x 21.5m Length
 Type of Foundation = Isolated Foundations
 Project Location = Pakistan - Karachi – Nooriabad

Project Name: Engineering & Design of Bulk Oil Storage & Depot at Daulatpur
EDC's Joint Collaboration Project with OES – Complete Civil & Structural Design of Bulk Oil Storage Facility was conducted by EDC.
 EDC performed detailed Civil Design with construction drawings for Bulk Oil Storage Terminal including following major Civil
Components;
► HSD Storage Tank Foundations & Dyke Wall – 2 x 750,000 Ltrs. ► Road & Storm Water Network Design
► Loading & Unloading Gantry Steel Structure Shed – 3 bays ► Boundary Wall Design as per existing ground terrain
► Administration / Office Building – Ground + 1 ► Pump House Buildings – Product & Fire Water
► Large Diameter Semi Buried MS Tanks – 2 x 330,000 Ltrs. ► Ware House & Lube Storage Buildings
 Cost & Time Optimization of Large Diameter Storage Tank Foundations by in depth study & discussion with Soil Investigation
Company for optimum foundation solutions.
 Complete Civil BOQ was developed for each facility of Bulk Oil Storage Terminal.
 Design Office support to Site Team was provided timely during construction phase.
 All Structure were designed using Structural Analysis Software - Staad Pro V8i (SS-5) & in-house developed design sheets.
