in the Communication Addition (CADD) by 4 p.m. Monday, November 15th. To apply you must
be a Washington State University student in good academic standing with the university.

Cable 8 Productions is currently looking to fill the following positions:

Television:
• Producer and Director of the following possible shows:
o Always on the movie o Catalyst
o Get Lucky in Pullman o After Short Hours
o Inside the Lines o Controlled Chaos
o Video Underground o Art Beat
o The Mix o Lab Rats
• Producer and Director for any other returning shows
• Producer and Director for new pilot shows
• Production Manager
o In charge of managing equipment and acts as a technical liaison. Assists the VP of Television,
including regulation of show quality.
Special Projects:
• Special Projects Technical Producer
• Special Projects Technical Director
• Special Projects Executive Producer
• Director of “ASWSU” affairs
Master Control Programming and Traffic:
• Program Manager (master control coordinator)
o In charge of creating weekly programming schedule, scheduling and managing master control
operators. Also assists in show regulation.
Sales:
• Sales Manager
o In charge of coordinating and overseeing all advertisements and underwriting for the station.
Promotions:
• Special Events Coordinator
o In charge of all special events, including but not limited to: hospitality events, Cougar Vision Outreach
Program events, spring & fall banquets
• Awards and Publications Coordinator
o In charge of all publications, including, but not limited to, the P.L.U.G.E., fliers, pamphlets and
brochures. Also responsible for researching awards and helping submit for shows.
• Webmaster
o In charge of maintaining and updating cable8.org and video hosting website(s), and MurrowNet. Also
responsible for uploading episodes to sites.
• General Promotions Manager
o In charge of creating and executing promotional campaigns for the station.
• Show Promotions Manager
o In charge of creating and executing promotional campaigns for the shows.
• Social Media Strategist

o Responsible for maintaining all social networks, including Facebook and Twitter. Also responsible for
blogging about the station and/or shows. Must be able to attend at least two show tapings per week.
