2. Using Global Illumination (GI) and understanding how GI photons


work
 Secondary light bounces.
 Photons bounce and retain color.

 Maya to Mr.dll plugin

1. Select Light and set it to emit photons


2. Check Global Illumination in the render settings
3. Photon intensity depends of the size of the scene and light distance
4. GI is supposed to be used in conjunction with Final Gathering.
3. Understanding Final Gather and exploring Final Gather techniques
 Objects can emit light raising its Ambient Color Value beyond 1.
To reduce noise, raise number of rays.
