    Location : Fort Bonifacio Taguig City
    Subject : Backfilling Methodology

    METHODOLOGY

    1. Prepare the area and install all utilities prior to waterproofing works.

    2. After the waterproofing works, flood test the area for 24 hours. (2” deep water)

    3. If no leaks have been found, drain the water and start the backfilling works.

    4. Backfill the whole area with excavated soil (Adobe) 30cm thick for the first layer.

    5. Compact the soil with mechanical compactor for at least 3 times.

    6. Repeat step 4 & 5 for the succeeding layers until it reaches the required level.
