1) The number of incorrect answers on a true-false competency test for a


random sample of 15 students were recorded as follows: 2, 1, 3, 0, 1, 3, 6, 0,
3, 3, 5, 2, 1, 4, and 2. Find the mean, median and mode.

∑x/N = 36/15 = 2.4

2) The number of building permits issued last month to 12 construction firm


in a Quezon City were 4, 7, 6, 9, 11, 4, 1, 15, 3, 5, 8, and 7. Treating the data
as apopulation, find the mean, median and mode.

MEAN:

∑x/N = 80/12 = 6.67

MEDIAN:

Md = (6 + 7)/2 = 6.5

3) Joey Tribbiani has been working on programing and updating a Web site
for his company for the past 15 months. The following numbers represent
the number of hours Stephen has worked on this Web site for each of the
past 9 months:

∑x/N = 460/9 =51.11
