    The IT administration of LUMITEL Burundi wants to connect all LUMITEL field offices by

    implementing WAN/LAN in all these offices. There are 34field offices in Burundi it is decided

    that every field office be given an IP address block with a suitable mask. It is also decided to use

    the private class B network 172.20.0.0/16 to represent the entire organization. Each field office

    has 12different departments like sales, marketing, administration, welfare, external plant,

    technical, accounts, electrical, building, customer care, legal, stores.

    It is required that each of these departments be given one separate subnet each. Design suitable

    subnetting and IP address allocation schema so that the above requirements are taken care of

    with a minimum wastage of IP address space.
