Abstract

Senior high school is a two years of specialization wherein the Grade 10 finisher may choose a
track to specialized based on aptitude, interest, and school capacity. This study was conducted
to deeply inderstand the views of the Grade 10 students from the Davao del Sur School of
Fisheries about the different Senior High School Track offerings. Ten Grade 10 students from
DSSF were interviewed. In-depth interview were employed in this study. It was found out that
the Grade 10 students viewed SHS Track as ut help them to be academically inclined, it help
them to improved their skills an dit help them to seek job after Senior High. The Grade 10
students viewed it as a helpful tool to them. In other words, the different SHS Track makes every
student ready to do academic works, they wre equipped with different skills because of the
programs that are being offered or implemented in Senior High. The students will be more
globally competitive because of the unique talents and skills they attained and knowledge that
they improved where they can use it to their future. As an implication, this study could be the
basis of the formulation and improving those program that can help more on refining each
students and gives them better education.
