Advantages of graphic languages © Easy programming : - Languages that express the analysis, ~ Direct transcription of the design. * Easy debugging and maintenance: ~ Real-time display of Ladder contact networks and Grafcet charts. * Application documentation that is an exact reflection of the design and the control program. Ladder Language Programs written in Ladder language are composed of a succession of contact networks. The main graphic elements of the ESSEC Si o¥ poe language are contacts (inputs) and coils Di eee (outputs), completed by function blocks Til aiterbas and operation blocks. Grafcet Language ‘The Grafcet language comprises: Graphic Grafcet charts, composed of steps and transitions, which define the structure of the program, ~ Ladder contact networks, which define ‘the actions associated with the steps and the conditions associated with the transitions. Application Utilities The structure of the PL7-2 software facilitates the integration in the user program of siagnostic utilities and application operating modes. " 1 PL7-2 Languages 1.2/0 Addressing for TSX 17-20 TSX 17-20 micro-PLC ‘The 1/0 addressing of the TSX 17-20 micro-PLC is geographic: Discrete /0: Maximum configurations xj = aninput Basic | V0 VO extension 7 micro- | extension | modules and/ Oxi = an output PLC blocks | or intelligent x = 1/0 module number (0 to 3) mooaes i = 1/0 point number: 4 3 0 inputs 0 to 23, u 2 u 1 1 2 outputs 0 to 15 1 0 3 Event-triggered inputs: 10,24 and 10,25 Rules for defining the 1/0 module number x: The basic micro-PLC always has the number 0, The first I/O extension always has the number 1, The second 1/0 extension always has the number 2, ‘The third I/O extension always has the number 3. Note: The I/O modules (0 to 3) can be connected in any order. Examples of I/O module connection: 10,05 12,03 @® Eda Examples of /O addressing: ‘* 10,05 = input 5 of module 0 (basic micro-PLC), © 12,03 = input 3 of module 2 (second I/O extension), * 01,08 = output 5 of module 1 (first I/O extension) 12
