A RESOLUTION RE-NAMING THE MANIKI CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (MCES

EXTENSION 2) INTO VIZLUMINO Y. TAMONDONG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, LOCATED AT
PUROK 16, BARANGAY MANIKI, KAPALONG, DAVAO DEL NORTE

WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit (LGU) has allowed the establishment of extension
school of Maniki Central Elementary School (MCES) in Barangay Maniki, Kapalong, Davao del
Norte, considering the increase of enrollment every year, which were traced from Purok 16, and
Villa Clementa Subdivision, cause by influx on relocated residents from Danger Zone as
declared by the local sanggunian; and migration of housing takers of Villa Clementa
Subdivision;

WHEREAS, the opening of extension school in areas where population is concentrated help the
school children minimize the risk of travelling and walking to and from home to school;

WHEREAS, as the years went by, it was realized that the school expansion could develop faster
should it has its own identity and operate independently, while the mother unit can also fast
track its effort in addressing the school development;
