First and foremost, the researcher would like to express her praises to

Allah SWT, the Lord and the Almighty for His guidance researcher could not able

to complete this thesis. Shalawat and salam to the prophet Muhammad SAW

(peace be upon him), his family, and his fellows.

During the completion of this thesis, the researcher had received so many

help and kindness from some individuals. Therefore, the researcher would like to

express her gratitude to them in this special chance. Researcher would like to

express her deepest appreciation and gratitude to her advisors Dr. Bibit

Suhatmady, M.Pd and Dr. Phil. Maria T Ping, M.Sc for the continouse trust,

support, patience, valuable suggestions and also motivations. Their guidance

completely helped the researcher in all the time of research and writing of this

thesis.

Besides her advisors, the researcher would like to thank the examiners Dr.

Saraka, M.Pd, Dr. Sunardi, S.S., M.Hum, and Effendi Limbong, M.Ed., Ed.D for

their criticism and suggestion for this thesis. Thus, this thesis becomes better. Her

The researcher takes this opportunity to express her gratitude to express

her gratitude to Dr. H. Umar as the Head of SMP N 24 Samarinda, all teachers

and staffs, especially Mr. Gendro Basuki, S.Pd as the English teacher of the

second grade for allowance, guidance, and support during the experiment. She

also delivers her thanks to all students in class VIII who plays a very important

role in this research.

The researcher would like to express her deepest gratitude to the ones she

loves the most, her parents, Bapak Mardani and Ibu Badariah, for their

unconditional love, never ending prayer, and also their encouragement. The

reasearcher also addresses thanks to her lovely sister, Raudatul Kiftiah for the

biggest support and understanding.

Then, the researcher would like to thank her best friends ever in life,

Puspa, Siska, Eka, Ufi and also to all her friends in English Departement for their

support, suggestion and help in the process of writing this thesis.
