"Things began to happen last Monday, when a
..' meeting orEanized by the members 0£ the Revolutionary
Directory and the July 26 Movement was held in Bay-
front Park in memory of those who had died in Havana
on March 13 and April 19. At that meeting, ex-President
PRIO said that he was opposed to the holding of elec-
tions in Cuba, under the present circumstances Coinci-
dentally, it was announced in Havana that T~NVARONA
would l~ave for Miami in order to confer wit IO on
the election possibilit~ies, and that MARnUE .:iTERLING ~_!
would do the same thing, · order to take steps for _ .·

STERLING arrived in Miami Friday night and his

"While VARONA was conferring with PRIO and MARQUEZ
STERLING was speaking with OCHOA, the Revolutionary
Directory invited the Cubans to a Requiem Mass, in
memory of those who had died in the Palace and on
Hu~boldt Street, which was celebrated Sunday in St.
Patrick's Church, Miami Beach. In their turn, the
membErs of the July 2:'.i held two different meetings in
the Lodge Building. The presence of PRIO at one of them
and that of the sisters of FIDEL CASTRO at the other
brought cor.:· ents from the whole Cuban colony in this
city. And to add still greater importance to the mat-
ter, Television Channel 4 exhibited in private to about
two hundred Cubans, among them FRIO, himself, VAR0NA
and a f'TOUf' of Cuban journalists, the movie filmed on
the Sierra Maestra, in which is reported the activity
of the guerrillas colll!1anded by CASTRO. More than 300
persons stationed on North Miami Avenue uttered shouts
of proteBt against some persons present, describing
them as electionists, and against some Cuban newspaper-
men who came to report the event.
"For the time being, it seems that PRIO is in favor
of abstaining and that VARONA seconds him in that position.
Up to now, it is not known what position OCHOA will
take, Apparently, the talks with MARQUEZ STERLING

Examiners Office. Dr. Wright was verbally given all the pertinent details surrounding the investigati on at this
point. Dr. Wright then placed himself in the same position in the chaise lounge chair as was assumed by the victi m.

In this position it was found that for an individual to have shot himself in the chest that it would be necessary

thru the torso of the body coming to rest in the lower abdomen area . Or. Wright stated that most probabl~ what
