Listen to God's Voice: Fast & Obey

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the
world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having
done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth , and having put
on the breastplate of righteousness , and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of
peace ; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the
flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation , and the sword of the Spirit, which is
the word of God. With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on
the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints."

"and said, “You who are full of all deceit and fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness,
will you not cease to make crooked the straight ways of the Lord? Now, behold, the hand of the Lord is
upon you, and you will be blind and not see the sun for a time.” And immediately a mist and a darkness
fell upon him, and he went about seeking those who would lead him by the hand. Then the proconsul
believed when he saw what had happened, being amazed at the teaching of the Lord."
ACTS 13:10-12 NASB

"Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking
someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering
are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world."
1 PETER 5:8-9 NASB

"Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your
hearts, you double-minded."
JAMES 4:8 NASB

"You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he
who is in the world."
1 JOHN 4:4 NASB

"And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this
world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the
glory of Christ, who is the image of God."
2 CORINTHIANS 4:3-4 NASB

God of this people Israel chose our fathers and made the people great during their stay in the land of
Egypt, and with an uplifted arm He led them out from it. For a period of about forty years He put up with
them in the wilderness. When He had destroyed seven nations in the land of Canaan, He distributed
their land as an inheritance— all of which took about four hundred and fifty years. After these things He
gave them judges until Samuel the prophet. Then they asked for a king, and God gave them Saul the son
of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years. After He had removed him, He raised up David to

the people kept begging that these things might be spoken to them the next Sabbath. Now when the
meeting of the synagogue had broken up, many of the Jews and of the God-fearing proselytes followed
Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, were urging them to continue in the grace of God."
