Re: Neely N. Parsons

To Whom It May Concern:

This letter is written on behalf of Neely Parsons who graduated Magna Cum Laude, 3.64 GPA,
from Edinboro University on May 4, 2019 with a Bachelors Degree in Education with a
concentration in Secondary Social Studies.

Ms. Parsons was a student of mine during the Spring 2019 semester when she was enrolled in
SEDU 495 Student Teaching. During this time, Ms. Parsons quickly established herself as an
upbeat student. It was clear throughout our many conversations that Ms. Parsons is keenly aware
of the needs of children today and demonstrates an acute awareness that sound instructional
practices are an essential ingredient to the teaching and learning process.

My vantage point is that of former teacher, counselor, school administrator, and tenured
professor. After working closely with Neely, I can accurately state that her skills as a cooperative
and aspiring professional are very evident. Her desire to further her education through a
nationally accredited educational program speaks well of her professional interests and career
goals. Neely is up to date with educational issues facing our profession and a collaborative
problem solver. She is very positive and willing to take the time to keep everyone involved in
the learning process.

It is without qualifications that I recommend Ms. Parsons for your consideration. The
responsibilities of future teachers today are well suited to Ms. Parson’s talents and expertise.

Please feel free to contact me if you desire further information concerning Ms. Parson’s
professional abilities. If I cannot be reached at my office my mobile telephone is 724-815-9744.
