The lack of respect for the younger generation to older people

Assalamualaikum Wr.Wb
My name is Febrianti and on this occassion i would like to diliver a speech entitled the lack of
respect for the younger generationto older people.
Do not forget we also say thanksgiving for Allah SWT who has bestowed his mercy on us all, so
that we can still breathe air and gather together in good health on this occassion.
My beloved friend
Respect for older people is one of the views of human life, especially for the people of
Indonesia. In Indonesia respect older people becomes a habit (manners) in everyday life carried
out by all people, both man and women. This habis is a good habit because younger people
should respect and respect older people and this habit should be maintained by the entire
community.
Many things can be done to respect older people. For example by kissing the hands of an older
person when meeting especially to both parents/ to someone who is already known but if they
don't know each other, it can be done by smiling kindly on the older person. By respecting older
people, both in terms of age, knowledge, experience and so on, it is noble and rewarding
practice and will give a good impression for older people and younger people. And there will be
a harmonious relationship between the two parties, so that they can feel comfortable, safe and
happy.
My beloved friends
The cause of the fading of respect for the present generation there are the influence of
technological developments, modernization of culture, promiscuity, abuse of illegal drugs, lack
of habituation at home, and the logical grip on religion.
Now we can see around us not infrequently the children dare to do my commander who is
actually considered impolite on social media, children who openly call on the names of older
people and do not hesitate to say harsh sentences. Even the most ironic is that children yell at
their parents or swear at their parents, children beat their parents and even the most sad child
kilss their parents.
My beloved friends
In order to become people who have manners we must be good at choosing friends, broaden
our horizons and knowledge, follow moral and moral formation, increase faith and piety, carry
out posotive activities, and the most important is the role of parents.
Before i close the end this speech, i apologize profusely, if there are sentences and words that
are not pleasing and not worth listening to, so much from me and thank you.
