Menu Cooking Contest Criteria:

Mechanics
Before the contest proper, contestants are required
to submit recipes with vegetables as main
ingredients. It should have no more than 5
ingredients, excluding seasonings and condiments
that are inexpensive. The recipe must contain the
title, list of ingredients, procedure and cost.
Palatability/taste - 25%;
Use of nutritious ingredients - 25%;
Originality - 20%;
Visual appeal - 15%;
and Ease of Preparation - 15%
POSTER MAKING and SLOGAN MAKING CONTEST
REQUIREMENTS:

¼ Illustration Board
Pastel Oil, Crayons and other Coloring Materials
Pencil
Eraser
MECHANICS:
1. Interested students will create a poster and
slogan following the theme of the contest
2. Interested students are free to use any medium
in poster and slogan making and shall be placed on
a ¼ illustration
board.
3. Entries must be submitted on or before July 23,
2012
CRITERIA:
Relevance to the Theme 40 %
Originality 35%
Impact (Heatless, presentation, Color Harmony)
25%

Mechanics
1. Each college shall be represented by a pair of
bonafide UP Manila students of schoolyear 2011-
2012, one male and one female of any year level.
The pair may or may not beendorsed by respective
college councils.
2. Those who are willing to join should accomplish
and submit required documents on or before
February 8.
3. Contestants will compete on the following
categories/ special awards:
Mr. and Ms. Talent
Best in Filipiniana Attire/Native Costume
Most Photogenic (by Pair)
UP Manila’s Favorite
Best in School Uniform
Prizes: Sash and cash prize
Criteria for Judging Talent Competition:
Each pair shall be given 3 minutes to perform
50%- Execution
30%- Originality and Creativity
20%- Audience Appeal
Filipiniana Attire/ Native Costume
30%-Poise and Bearing
25%- Design
45%-Innovativeness and Creativity

Agro-fair display

1. Each Section will construct one (1) booth entry.


2. The booths shall have a uniform size of 3 x 3
meters.
3. Any materials like bamboo, cogon, banana,
coconut or a combination of this materials shall be
used depending on the preference and availability
of materials in their respective sections.
4. The booth must display agricultural, handicrafts
and livelihood products made/found in the
barangay.
5. A Section who will not display any product, will
not receive a consolation prize.
6. The sequence of the booths will be drawn.
