2012–2016 Bachelor of Engineering, Olin College, Needham, MA, GPA – 3.80.
Candidate for Bachelor of Science in Engineering; Mechanical Engineering Major
Coursework Includes: Mechanical Design, Fluid Dynamics, Robotics, Software Design, Controls, Dynamics

Experience
Vocational
2016-2019 Mechanical Engineer, Desktop Metal, Burlington, MA.
○␣ Developed the desktop metal studio system from initial prototypes and proofs of concept to an internationally
sold product as the primary integration engineer responsible for the material handling system, printer frame,
print bed and extruder hot end geometry.
○␣ Ideated novel concepts, developed initial breadboard prototypes and worked with industrial designers to turn
those concepts into a product.
○␣ Completed performance testing, system life testing, tolerance stackups, root cause analysis and debugging,
verification testing, bolted joint design, and miscellaneous test software.
○␣ Responsible for detailed part design, drawings with tolerance stackups and GD&T and ECO release process
through NPI transition to contract manufacturing.
○␣ Experience with injection molding (20+ parts), sheetmetal, machining, sand cast and permanent mold cast,
3D printed parts for bridge production, laser cutting and die cut and compression molded foam.
2015 Robotics Intern, Right Hand Robotics, Boston, MA.
○␣ Designed the mechanical elements of the Reflex TakkTile research robotic hand.
○␣ Managed the Reflex Takktile from an initial concept to a product ready for low volume production.
2014 Engineering Intern, Barrett Technology, Newton, MA.
○␣ Worked to make the BarrettHand more water resistant through identifying sealing locations and part changes.
○␣ Designed wire harnesses and stands for robotic arms, created drawings and worked with machine shops
2012&2013 Engineering Intern, Symbotic, LLC, Wilmington, MA.
○␣ Developed a custom vacuum system to clean an automated warehouse that could be integrated into an existing
platform.
○␣ Designed and built custom test and manufacturing fixtures for sensors.
Course Projects, Olin College
2015-2016 Harley Davidson Senior Project, Developed concepts for Harley Davidson to allow for a larger rider
base, including riders needing extra assistance. Simulated systems in MATLAB, prototype systems to
validate model and used model to make conclusions outside of the scope of the prototyping..
2015 Automatic Chain Making Machine, Worked on a small team of students to design and do life and
wear calculations on a process machine..
2014 6 DOF Robotic Arms, Did mechanical design and 3D modeling of robotic arms for restaurant robot.

Leadership and Activities

2014-present Olin College Human Powered Vehicles Team.
○␣ Designed and fabricated the front frame and transmission of the 2014 and 2015 Olin racing tricycles.
2014 RobotX Competition, 2014 International Maritime Robot-X Winners.
Engineered sonar pods that could survive the boat running aground and isolate noise from the sensors.
