    Open SketchUp Pro 2018

    2. Draw a cube
    3. Save as C:\Users\DTF PE&C\Desktop\Untitled.skp
    4. File>Send to Layout 2018

    5. File>Export>PDF
    a. save as C:\Users\DTF PE&C\Desktop\Untitled.pdf
    b. Keep all the pdf export settings default
    6. Press the Export Button

    7. “There was a problem exporting to this file” error appears.

    8. General Notes:
    a. The desktop is not a synchronised or cloud based folder.
    b. No punctuation or special Characters were used in the path of file name.
    c. I’ve had Sketchup 2016 and 2017 working on this computer and never had an issue
    with PDF.
    d. I have tried exporting to a basic folder path like C:\Users\Public\Temporary\Trial.pdf
    and it also gave the same error.
    e. I’ve tried opening a new blank Layout document, drawing a single line, trying to
    export to PDF and getting the same error.
