DISPLAYING DATA FROM A BASELINE

The data from a baseline can be displayed visually or as task text.

How do I hide and show tasks from a baseline in a time distance cell?

1. Open a view over the Explorer and click in the time/distance cell.

2. On the tab Display you can hide and show the actual baseline using the option Baseline tasks.

3. You can select the actual baseline in the baseline manager

The presentation of the tasks from the baseline can be selected in the Options dialog on the tab  Display.

How do I hide and show tasks from a baseline in a Gantt chart cell?

1. Open a view over the Explorer and double click a Gantt chart object..

2. On the context menu select Gantt Chart Settings.

3. On the tab Display you can hide and show the actual baseline using the option Baseline tasks.

4. You can select the actual baseline in the baseline manager

How do I create a task annotation with values from a baseline?

1. Click on a task with the right mouse button and select the entry Add Task Annotation.

2. The Add Task Annotation Dialog is opened.

 Name - The name of the text object. Objects are listed using this name on the tab Other
objects of the time/distance cell.

 Pin point - To which position of the task should the annotation be attached?

 Scaling - Should the annotation be scaled when changing the ruler? We recommend that you
do not set scaling for annotations.

3. Enter the required text in the text field. With the F8 key you will see a list of Text Tokens, that show
task information.
Those referring to baseline data are located in folders named Baseline

4. Confirm the dialog using OK.

How do I hide and show text with values from a baseline?

1. In the Explorer open the item  Library/-Graphic/ Layer.

2. Add a new layer using the button .

3. Enter the name for the layer e.g. "Text Baseline".

4. Change back to a view.

5. Select the task annotation with the values from a baseline.

6. Select the new Layer from the tab Position on the Details Toolbar.

7. Click on the cell and select the tab Layer on the Details Toolbar.

8. Here you can Hide and show the layer.

Deleting tasks related to baseline tasks

Baseline tasks are not deleted after deleting related tasks, which means that:

 Baseline tasks with no related tasks (after they have been deleted) are shown in black
 Baseline tasks with no related tasks (after they have been deleted) are shown at the bottom of
the Gantt chart.
This feature is unique to TILOS; when you erase a task in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, you can no
longer show its baseline task. To hide baseline tasks from deleted tasks, select Tools > Baseline
Manager to edit them.
