Abstract

This article shows the use of Comic as a tool to enhance creative writing in students in state schools of
Colombia. The policies of MEN, as well as and writing activities, lack of innovation; those activities are
writings sentences or filling the gaps. Teachers should bring catching activities like, as this article
proposes, to read and to write comics. Comics improve concentration, writing production, creativity and
some skills to students; besides, comics are attractive to children and teenagers and they have plenty of
genders (anime, cartoon, action, etc.). Thus, in order to for comics to be effective, teacher must bring
variety of comics to students and tools for teaching them, so that to they to they can select what gender
they like the most and get an agreement with their teachers.
