Yes, CHED has jurisdiction over ecclesiastical/international school in the Philippines.

R.A. No. 7722, Sec. 3, Par. 2 states that CHED’s coverage shall be both public and private
institutions of higher education as well as degree-granting programs in all post-secondary
educational institutions, public and private, in the Philippines.
CHED is a government agency, under the Office of the President, that oversees all HEIs in
the country.
There is no law that excludes ecclesiastical or international HEIs in the Philippines, within the
jurisdiction of the CHED.
Moreover, law schools are excluded from the jurisdiction of CHED upon the creation of a
Board of Legal Education under R.A. No. 7662.

Hence, all private or public HEIs including ecclesiastical/international schools situated in the
Philippines are within the jurisdiction of CHED.
