1.0 Introduction
Electricity connection will be made available in all households under one of the
Seven ‘NISCHAY’ of state government which promises that all houses in the villages
and habitations will have an electricity connection and will get power.
The Bihar State Electricity Survey and Verification Mobile App has been
developed by NIC, it will help in survey of consumers of all household of NBPDCL and
SBPDCL. It will be implemented in both the DISCOMs for rural consumers. The mobile
apps have been developed in Android studio with java web services at server end to
interact with Sql Server database.
Survey of all the rural households is in progress under direct supervision of
concerned Junior Electrical Engineers in respective blocks. Junior Electrical Engineers
are to ensure that every rural household is covered in the survey activity. The HH
surveyed will be randomly verified and crosschecked by the Junior/Assistant/Nodal
Officers as below:
The cross checking of surveyed data by above officers has to be done through the same
mobile based android application and certificate for cross verification and completion of
Survey will be given by officers.
For inspection and verification of surveyed data, a new supervisory module has
been launched as a part of Electricity Survey app version 5.1.
1.1 Purpose
The main purpose of this module is to act as tool to crosscheck the authenticity
of surveyed data with reference to all the essential operations of the survey
process. Operations of the detailed processes have been enumerated with
necessary guidelines as and when required. The guiding instruction for the same
has been explained in this document. This will also give an idea of web
application to monitor and mapping of activity
Bihar State Electricity survey and supervision Mobile App is developed in Sql
Server as back end with Java as front end to interface with the user. Advance
Java platform is used for apps at server end and Android mobile at client end.
The system is operational with java web services based Architecture.

Electricity Survey mobile app can be downloaded

Connect to Your Mobile App
This section explains how you can use your phone to connect and use the Electricity Survey App. Once
you have internet connection, you can click the Electricity Survey mobile app icon.
For Login, user must require login id and password. User ID and Passwords have already been
communicated to all the users. User credentials of Electricity Survey module can also be obtained
from division office.
For completion of login process, user need to enter the OTP.

Mobile App Dashboard (Home Screen)
After login, it will display the user home screen. Home screen will show Data available on Mobile
and Data Allotted to User.
Data Allotted to user is the total count of surveyed data till date. This allotted data need not be
downloaded all at once but can be downloaded village wise. Count of surveyed Data downloaded
for inspection will show up under “Data available on Mobile”.

Select on synchronize data and select panchayat.

Go for Inspection
Click on Go for Inspection Option.
Search the Data on basis of Name, Father, Mobile No and Consumer No. to be inspected

Click the Data for verification
Last Image is Mandatory and has to be taken along with household owner and User.

Once Inspection is complete. Click on Show Pending to view the data to be uploaded.
Inspected Data will be displayed. If any changes are to be made it can be done here.

Delete Panchayat wise data if not required.

Once checked the data can be uploaded by clicking on Upload Data
Click Yes to Upload the pending data to the server. The same set of steps need to be repeated
for verification of subsequent records.
