HALLOWEEN PROJECT

INTRODUCTION

Halloween is an old tradition from north of


Europe (Ireland and Europe). The
pumpkin, costumes and sweets sometimes
have a strange origin.

TASK

You and your classmates are in the high school magazine. It is Halloween next week
and you want to write an article about this tradition. To do that, you have to find
information to know as much as possible about this foreign tradition. You have to
include:

1. A Halloween glossary: pictures or definitions. (12 words)


2. When Halloween is celebrated and where this word derives from. (80 words)
3. What children do with pumpkins in Halloween. (80 words)
4. The origin of Jack-o-Lantern. (80 words)
5. The origin of the tradition ‘Trick or Treat’. (80 words)
