1. Walmart
Overview: The eMeals app currently integrates with Walmart Grocery which allows users to
send their grocery list from the eMeals app to Walmart to select ingredients and schedule
pickup or delivery. You will have a monthly budget of $25k to reach this audience with a
blended CPA, cost per acquisition, target of $45.
Task: Identify and market to users who already have an affinity (current users) of Walmart
Grocery and present them eMeals as the full solution to planning their meals for the week.
Detailed marketing plan of the media spend including audience targeting, bids, and
budgets
Create five text headlines for Facebook ads with a focus on eMeals and Walmart
Create the copy for an email promotion that would go to leads (people who have given
us their email address but didn’t sign up for a free trial).
2. Keto Collection
Overview: eMeals is launching a new keto collection. It will feature 21-30 keto recipes that any
eMeals user can access in the app. You are tasked with creating an experimental acquisition
strategy to reach people who have an interest in keto and would be interested in signing up for
an eMeals subscription. Your test budget is $20k with a month one cpa of $60 with a target cpa
of $50 per signup in month two.
Task: Please create a detailed marketing plan of the media spend including full funnel view for
each channel and an example of ads (copy more than imagery) for the placements.
