Conduct police presence shall be visible day round along major
Backgrounder thoroughfares and entry/exit point to assist and inform travelers of the
traffic situation.

On January 18, 2019 at about 8:30 A.M., 702nd MARPSTA personnel


led by SPO4 Samuel G Fernandez, rendered police presence/visibility
inside Dumaguete City Port Passenger Terminal Building, Negros Oriental,
and checked more or less sixty (60) passengers and seventy six (76)
baggages randomly.
At about 9:00 AM, 701st MARPSTA personnel led by SPO1 Florito H
Banilad, conducted police presence/visibility and patrol at Terminal 1, 2 &

3, Port Area, Cebu City. The team was able to checked more or less one

hundred fifty (150) passengers and one hundred eighty (180) baggages.
Likewise, 703rd MARPSTA personnel led by SPO4 Noel Rogelio G
Avenido, provided police presence and passenger assistance at Port of
Tagbilaran City, Bohol and checked more or less ninety (90) passengers
and fifty (50) baggages.
Activity ended at about 5:00 PM of same date with no untoward incident
happened/reported.
Impact of Activity to It strengthens the commitment of personnel in enhancing police presence
the PNP-MG and deters any prohibited items to enter the area.

Continuously conduct said activity and the likes for target hardening
Recommendation/s
measures within AOR against threat groups.
