CIVIL ENGINEERING The Civil Engineering program has been in existence since the inception of MEC in 2014.
CE faculty are committed to delivering knowledge and expertise across a wide spectrum
of subjects and are actively involved in research that caters to the societal needs in general.
Besides high quality teaching and research, the department is actively involved in
Consultancy, in collaboration with several companies.

The National Conference on Futuristic Approaches in Civil Engineering (FACE-2019) aims to bring
together researchers, engineers, scientists and industry professionals to an open forum to foster

FACE active discussions on the latest advances in the field of civil engineering. The conference will
offer a platform to explore and share ideas in wide-ranging areas of civil engineering. Broadly the
areas include, Smart infrastructure, Sustainable materials, Disaster Management, Computational
Modeling, Waste management, Climate Management, Renewable energy and Non-destructive
methods will be emphasized. The exciting program will feature invited speakers from government
and private sectors as well as offer panel discussion, case studies, product demonstrations, and
technical paper sessions.
