TIBCO Business Works Installation Steps

Required Software
Copy the Required Softwares from the below mentioned shared location to your local machine:

Shared Location: \\REDDYD2\TIBCO_Softwares

Install TIBCO Rendezvous

1. Unzip the following installation file(s) to the installs directory (C:\tibco)

o TIB_rv_8.4.0_win_x86_64_vc8.zip
2. Navigate to the following executable, installing the software to the desired directory:
o TIBCOUniversalInstaller.exe
3. The following screenshot illustrates the component(s) expected to be installed:

4. If necessary, select “Custom Install” and verify all options are selected:
5. Follow the installation wizard to completion
Install TIBCO Runtime Agent (TRA)

1. Unzip the following installation file(s) to the installs directory (C:\tibco):

o TIB_tra_5.7.4_win_x86_64.zip
2. Navigate to the unzipped directory and click on the following executable to begin
installation:
o TIBCOUniversalInstaller.exe
3. The following screenshot illustrates the component(s) expected to be installed:

4. Using the following screenshot as a reference, create the TIBCO _HOME directory:

5. Follow the prompts provided by the installation wizard until it completes

Install TIBCO BusinessWorks

1. Unzip the following installation file(s) to the installs directory (C:\tibco):

o TIB_bw_5.10.0_win_x86_64.zip
2. Navigate to the following executable and click on the following executable to begin
installation:
o TIBCOUniversalInstaller.exe
3. The following screenshot illustrates the component(s) expected to be installed:

4. If necessary, check the “Customize Installation” box and verify all options are selected,
as illustrated by the following screenshot:
5. Follow instructions/prompts to complete the installation
6. After installation, if necessary, update the bwengine.tra configuration file to reference
JRE 1.6.0
o Open file: C:\[TIBCO_HOME]\bw\5.9\bin\bwengine.tra
o Update property settings:
 tibco.env.JVM_LIB_PATH=C:/tibco/jre/1.6.0/bin/server/jvm.dll
 tibco.env.JVM_LIB_DIR=C:/tibco/jre/1.6.0/bin
 tibco.env.TIB_JAVA_HOME=C:/tibco/jre/1.6.0
