A FEASIBILITY STUDY ON MAKING ABANIKO AT BRGY.

NABUNDAS,

SHARIFF SAYDONA MUSTAPHA MAG.

I. INTRODUCTION

The traditional abaniko shape is that of a large heart, similar to the heart - shaped leaf
of a linden tree.

An abaniko (from the spanish word abanico meaning fan) is a type of hand held fan that
originated from the philippines. The abaniko together with the baro't saya, is a part of a lady's
attire. Various ways of using and holding the abaniko may convey different meaning for
example, an open abaniko that covers the chest area is a sign of modesty while rapid fan
movements express the lady's displeasure.

Abaniko is also the name given to a striking blow, resembling a fanning motion, that is used
in the martial art Eskrima.

II. SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT STUDY

B. Location of the community

Brgy. Nabundas, Shariff Saydona Mustapha, Mag. located along the hi-way of the
Barangay Nabundas.
C. Brief History of the Project

The abaniko refers to the native fan from the philippines, which made from the stems
and leaves of an ornamental plant of the same name the abaniko (belamcanda chinesis). The
traditional abaniko is a fan woven into the shape of a paddle, but the use of the term is also
applied to the folding (spanish) fan. Traditionally, the latter was used as part of the Filipina
garment.

Fancy folding fans for women whose use can be traced back to the spanish colonial
period also called abaniko. The word "pamaypay" though is an encompassing term that can
also ne used to refer to any kind of paper fan or cardboard piece for fanning.

III. PROPONENT MANAGEMENT AND PERSONAL

A. Proponent

The proponent of this specific project is Mrs. Johaina Langeban and her family in the
Barangay Nabundas it was said that they own the for quite sometime and this is was also inherit
from her family that was take over from her.

B. Management

This project is accomplish and abundantly with her family that was been quetion to
manage this entire feasibility study.
IV. MARKET FEASIBILITY

A. Market Description

This project is located at Barangay Nabundas, Shariff Saydona Mustapha


Maguindanao. The market standing of the said project was edible and congested from people
that will certainly profit to this project.

B. Demand Analysis

The demand for this is depending who will purchase and when for the reason of
there are periods that the growth of the product is low and high also this requires to the
supplier.

F. Price Study

The price of these product it depend upon the situation of the supply, because if the
supply is low the price is high and the supply is high the price is low.

G. Factors affecting this market

Sometimes there some factor affecting the business market. Like the produce of the
product are limited because of the lack of supply, The tragedy that could happened
unexpectedly like calamity, hurricane, storm, and flood.

V. TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY

A. Project
The people who owned the business, lecture them to learned the basic instructions
how to develop their source of income or even how to progress their activity regarding to sell
more their product. As this a inherit business there is no longer have to be training nor seminar
hence, this is just a local business.

B. Manufacturing Process

The owner list down all the items needed to be bought to the market as they are
too far from the proper town of the area. Then after everything is been settled the materials are
ready to assemble to be sell in public market.

C.Waste Disposal

The material that unused and the eliminate trash is being organize and when things
are should be recycle there are things that being done and when its nothing this materials are
dispose.
