MINUTES OF THE FIRST SK MEETING OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF

BARANGAY TINAGO HELD ON JULY 07, 2018 AT EXACTLY 7:00 O’CLOCK IN THE
EVENING AT BARANGAY MULTI-PURPOSE HALL, BARANGAY TINAGO, TOMAS
OPPUS, SOUTHERN LEYTE.

PRESENT:
Hon. Rogelio O. Alvar Jr. SK Chairperson (Presiding)
Hon. Syka T. Catig SK Kagawad
Hon. Jeremie T. Terante SK Kagawad
Hon. Christian L. Simpao SK Kagawad
Hon. Kenneth R. Olayer SK Kagawad
Hon. Norberto L. Polestico SK Kagawad
Hon. Kevin T. Olayer SK Kagawad
Hon. Mira Flor F. Tacle SK Kagawad

1. CALL TO ORDER:

The first SK session was called to order by Hon. Rogelio Alvar Jr., SK Chairperson at
7:00 o’clock in the evening who continued to preside over the session.

2. INVOCATION / NATIONAL ANTHEM

Through the order of the presiding officer, Hon. Christian Simpao was requested to lead
the invocation and Hon. Mira Flor Tacle to lead the National Anthem.

3. ROLL CALL:

The Presiding Officer asked Hon. Christian Simpao to call the roll and temporarily be the
secretary of the session. Thereafter, a quorum was declared to be present.

4. CALENDAR OF BUSINESS

The Presiding Officer presented the Agenda of the first SK meeting;

a. Formulation of SK rules and procedure

The presiding officer opened the table for suggestion on the SK rules and procedures.
These are the rules being suggested;
 Wearing of formal outfit every session.
 Not using of cellphone during the session.
 Be on time.
 Participate in every community service and activities.
These were agreed by Hon. Syka Catig and was seconded by Hon. Kevin Olayer.
b. Appointment of SK Secretary and treasurer

The presiding officer opened the table for suggestion and nomination in appointing the
SK Secretary and treasurer. Hon. Norberto Polestico suggested that the appointment
for the SK secretary and treasurer will be done next session for them to have time in
choosing the right person for the position and Hon. Mira Flor Tacle suggested to ask
advises from the council in choosing. These was agreed by the body and was moved to
close or stop the nomination by Hon. Jeremie Terante and seconded by Hon. Kenneth
Olayer.

c. Identification/appointment of the committee heads

The presiding officer gave the following committees and the officer responsible for
every committee.

The Presiding Officer Opened the table for suggestions and complain from their
assigned committee. It was then moved by Hon. Syka T. Catig that the formulated
Committee heads in every committee is final and seconded by Hon. Christian
Simpao.

d. Schedule of Regular SK meetings

The Presiding officer opened the table for suggestion on the schedule of Regular
SK meeting. Hon. Kenneth Olayer suggested that the regular session will fall every
4th Saturday of the month at exactly 7pm. Since everybody agreed with the
suggestion of Hon. Kenneth Olayer. It was then moved by Hon. Kevin Olayer that
the table for suggestion of the schedule for regular session is closed and seconded
by Hon. Norberto Polestico. So the Regular SK session is every 4th Saturday of the
month at exactly 7:00 o’clock in the evening.

e. Other matters

The presiding officer announced that the 49th founding anniversary of the Barangay
is fast approaching, and the SK officials was tasked to organize the basketball
league, the stage preparation during the activity and should join the parade.
 5. ADJOURNMENT

There being no more matter to take up and as moved by Hon. Kenneth Olayer duly
seconded by Hon. Mira Flor Tacle , the presiding officer thereupon declared the session
adjourned at about 9:30 pm.
