4.1 TYPES OF UTILIZATION OF TRANSITION SPACE

DEPENDED UTILIZATION
It is related indirectly to the transition
space. It is basically related to the
functions through several tasks managed
outside the transition space.

INDEPENDED UTILIZATION
It is related directly to the transition space
itself and its elements, though several
tasks handled inside the space.

4.4 RECOMMENDATIONS
Activity of a transition space depends on context of a space.
Space Layout Description
Entrance Entrance area is provided with
smooth transition. Tree canopy
leads to the entrance. Seating
with landscape element is
provided along the pathways.
Fountain placed in front of the
building with provides micro-
climate. Entry of building
provided with pergola which
will provide visual comfort,
light and shade.

Administrative The main activity takes place in


administrative area is waiting
so a comfortable seating area is
provided. Students works are
exhibited near the waiting area.
