Cameron Baby Sneakers

Cameron Baby Sneakers are baby booties in the style of Velcro sneakers. The design is gender-neutral
and may be worn by both girl and boy babies. If you want to make these sneaker-styled booties more
masculine or feminine, you may want to pick a fabric with an unmistakably boyish or girlish pattern.

Do you like to sew?

Keep in mind though that they are sneakers, however- a type of shoes that are unisex in many cases.

for indoor play. These sneaker-booties are also great for day-to-day stroller wear, such as on trips to the grocery store or
to the park, and are a popular present for mothers with little children.Designer’s Review

1
Cut out the Fabric
Draw the patterns directly onto the wrong side of a single layer of fabric. Because there is a right and left
shoe you will need to reverse the sole and upper patterns when tracing. Make sure the right and left
pieces are separated to avoid confusion when attaching the soles. Cut out the exterior, lining, and
interfacing. Fuse the interfacing on the wrong side of the exterior following the manufacturer’s guide.

upper strap’s Line A and Line Bs as indicated on the pattern. Pin and sew Line A, see Picture 9. Backstitch
on both ends. Pin the other side of the upper strap piece onto the upper piece along Line B. Sew from one
end to the other, backstitching on the start and end points, see Picture 10. Repeat for the other upper.

*Because our patterns are on PDF files, the pages may be scaled prior to printing, depending on the
printer and print driver. To ensure that the shoes pattern prints in the correct size, set the margins on
zero before printing the pattern. To do so, select “None” from the “Page Scaling” drop-down list in Acrobat
or Reader’s Print dialog box (Hanyaloglu, 2007).

**The size of the shoes may also be affected by the thickness of your interfacing and/or fabric.
